As part of a whole house remodel and addition, the traditional massing was maintained and streamlined on the front while the rest of the house was transformed and modernized to reflect the client’s aesthetic style. The entire back half of the house was demolished and replaced by a two-story addition, increasing the square footage significantly while improving the overall flow of interior spaces.

A split level on the second floor allowed a discreet private zone for the master suite, as well as higher ceilings over the large, open family room and kitchen below. A generous kitchen with a center island and recessed cove lighting, and an adjacent, fully glazed breakfast room open onto the sloping hill of the garden. Amenities include built-in storage, a walk-in master shower, an entertainment bar, and a home office, while modern details unify this elegant and updated residence.
